About Trainer Julie

Dog trainer Julie Vallery has over 25 years experience of working with dogs and their owners to achieve the highest level of dog obedience  and competition agility. She brings positivity and enthusiasm to every meeting, coupled with her excellent communication and listening skills. Sometimes standard training methods just won't work and Julie always has new ideas  to try and let's be honest she just loves dogs!

Julie is committed to the provision of a training experience that is positive for you and your dog. This quality service represents value for money.                 

Training is delivered in small group settings (maximum of 5-6 pupils) as well as 1-2-1 tuition, in both obedience and agility.  Behavioural Consultations 1-2-1 are also available, as well as specialised training, such as distance work in agility and mantrailing. Currently all classes are held in an outdoor arena, however, plans are in place to secure an indoor venue for obedience training classes and some consultations in the coming months. 

 Julie is passionate about  providing quality training that is relevant to you and your dog , Her hands on approach is ideal for the novice and more experienced trainer alike.She is committed to offering her clients  the skills and tools required to ensure a happy and healthy relationship with your canine. 

Julie herself has four dogs some of which compete at competition level of agility.  Her first pupil, son Dalton Meredith, is now a talented professional  handler who has gained numerous achievements in agility including agility champion status and has competed for Team GB.   Congratulations to Dalton on your 2024 success at Crufts.
